Thom Zajak is the founder of the Comic News (a.k.a. the Santa Cruz Comic News). In 1984, Thom had the bright idea to publish a weekly collection of political cartoons. The Comic News format caught on, and soon Comic News like papers were popping up all over the world. I started freelancing for Thom during the Reagan administration -- and still do occasionally.
